Judy Sewing is a founding principal of Meritage Healthcare Strategies. She has over 20 years experience in financial and management consulting and project feasibility analysis, including auditing and consulting experience with two of the top international accounting firms. She directed the medical fitness consulting division of The Benfield Group, a St. Louis, Missouri based consulting firm with a long track record of success in concept development, project feasibility and business planning for medical fitness centers. Under her leadership, the firm was awarded the Medical Fitness Association’s 2001 Founders Award for leadership in the medical fitness industry. She has consulted with over 200 hospitals and health systems that have considered wellness center development. Approximately 40 centers have been built based on her work and are currently operating—some have achieved award-winning results. Ms. Sewing also has experience in business plan development for medical spas and day spas.
