Early in her career Susan went to work for L'Oreal USA and Lancôme, Paris. After spending several years in the prestige cosmetics industry as a counter manager and makeup artist, Susan was offered a General Manager position with the Company Stores Division for L'Oreal USA in NYC. In the span of 10 months, Susan increased total revenues by 16%, transforming her store into the number one store in the company. With her focus on “staffing strong” and “marketing brilliantly”, she was eventually transferred to a multimillion-dollar store at the World Financial Center. Recognized for her continued success in achieving and surpassing monthly goals, Susan was given the prestigious “Recognition Award” from L'Oreal for outstanding sales and management achievement. In the last several years, Susan has focused her career in the Medical Spa industry, making her well known from the east coast to the west coast. Susan was the Spa Director for two very well known top Plastic Surgeons in the Paramus, New Jersey area. These high-powered plastic surgeons just happened to be ranked as the “Top Doctors” in the field of plastic surgery by New Jersey Monthly. Again, Susan’s marketing savvy, sales forecasting skills, inventory management and team building tactics led Beaura Medical Spa to impressive and healthy growth. As a result, her facility was showcased at the SSPCS 2005 Convention in New Orleans for their outstanding industry success. At that same meeting, Susan was personally acknowledged with a commendation for "Best Practices & Beyond". Fellow colleagues in the Medical Spa industry applauded her ability to increase revenues by 40% in one year. After several years of managing Beaura Spa, Susan became a consultant for Beautiful Forever Consulting Firm, in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. While consulting Susan focused on preparing marketing plans, demographics and feasibility plans, menus of services, contracts and proposals as well as sales and training. While consulting, Susan began to miss the medical office environment, working with doctors and an aesthetics practice and decided to take a position for LifeStyle Lift as a medical consultant. Enhancing her experience in the field of plastic surgery, Susan’s strong communication skills and understanding of cosmetic procedures made her a top consultant for the company within 3 months. While achieving high closing sales for LifeStyle Lift, Solana MedSpas, a medical spa consultating company had been pursuing Susan for several months to become a Northeast Regional Manager for their East Coast territory. Through negotiations Susan became the Regional Manager for Solana MedSpas and oversaw 15 medical spas. Providing performance enhancement, guidance and coaching for over 15 Owners and Retail Marketing Directors, it was Susan’s major role to ensure that the MedSpas operated to achieve profitably and efficiently to these high end privately owned medical spas. Susan’s major responsibilities included sales, marketing, customer service, staff management, profit/loss analysis and day-to-day operations. Conducting community marketing visits, planning and co-hosting events and grand openings, growing medspa’s revenues, increasing average ticket sales and traffic flow, as well as providing training and coaching for the owners and their staff. During this time, one of Susan’s accounts was seeking a leader to manage all aspects of their spa. After great consideration, Susan decided to take the offer and put her years of Med Spa development, sales, strategic projections, revenue growth, staff development, marketing/advertising campaigning, retention and inventory systems experience to use for Bella Tu MedSpa located in Nyack, New York. Working with local top plastic surgeons and interrogating their businesses with the medspa and managing nurse practioners, registered nurse estheticians, support staff, it is no wonder that Bella Tu MedSpa is becoming the fastest growing Premier MedSpa in the Tri-State Area.
